Recently, I've been frustrated by the poor beer selection in Vancouver Restaurants. I'm talking about chain Restaurants like Earls, Cactus Club, Moxies, etc.

I know some people find a beer they like and stick to it, but if you love beer as much as I do, you probably like to try new varieties and brews all the time. Why am I always forced to pick from the same 15 beers? Why can't restaurants update their beer menu every month with new varieties? Now that would be awesome! 

What I'd really love to see is more imported beers — and not just the usual ones like Heineken, Guinness, etc. How about some Belgian Trappist beer or Russian Stout? Very few restaurants carry these specialty beers and it's a shame because I think people would really love them.
